Fashion Coaching ‘At Home with Fiona’ by Grace Toomer

Last night we attended the Fashion Coaching event ‘At Home with Fiona’ hosted by El Corte Ingles at Puente Romano Beach Resort and Spa. It was a great evening, giving us the opportunity to network with many different people. It was a very intimate evening with around just 15 of us.
Fashion Coaching Event
Fiona spoke about her life and her career which I found very inspiring as she has done alot of great things so it was very interesting to hear her speak about her background. She was a lovely woman who was very genuine and easy to talk to.
The talk was with her and Carola Jimenez Toca, who is the personal shopper at El Corte Ingles in Puerto Banus. Fiona had selected a few items of clothing from the store and spoke about each piece. It was very interesting to see how she paired the items together and she spoke in depth about how one outfit can be changed from casual to dressy just with a change of accessories. This part of her talk was particularly inspiring as for us at Oxana Mess Organics, we believe that it’s important to have staple items of clothing that you can take from day to night with just the add of a heel or funky necklace or scarf. Recently at Oxana Mess Organics we have been discussing whether or not we would like to add accessories to our new collection but after the talk with Fiona we now understand just how important accessories are to a womans wardrobe!
The Organic Look by Oxana Mess Organics (me on the left)
To the event I wore an Oxana Mess Organics white shirt with coconut buttons and some Oxana Mess Organics trousers. Everybody complimented the outfit and couldn’t believe both the shirt and the trousers were organic. It was great to see how surprised everyone was because some people really don’t believe you can look so fashionable and be completely organic at the same time – we proved them wrong! To my outfit I added a green bag and a pair of simple gold heels.
Organic Fashion makes you HAPPY!
I made the outfit look dressy but the exact same outfit could be worn with a flat sandal for more of a day time look. The blouse is so light and extremely comfortable; you could also pair it with some jeans or shorts for a more casual look. The coconut buttons are such a lovely feature to the blouse and you could wear it with the buttons done up or open, whatever you prefer. The trousers were also very comfortable, almost like your wearing PJ’s – great for someone like me who thinks comfort is very important! I chose to wear the trousers in a high wasited style but you could also wear them lower on your hips with a plain t-shirt and a flip flop for a more casual look. I love the pattern of the trousers as I don’t own anything similar.
Overall the event was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you to everyone who helped organise it and to El Corte Ingles for our invitations.
